BOR approves big-ticket items UNI's official enrollment this year reached 12,159 students. This number is higher than predicted, but lower than last fall's enrollment. At the Board of Regents meeting UNI requested $10 million to help with renovations to Schindler Education Center.

Recognizing hunger: Speaker addresses how to be more in tune with your body UNI hosted Evelyn Tribole to speak about the importance of making peace with your body. It is better to eat healthy than to go on extreme diets. Many audience members found Tribole's presentation informative.
Film series rolls onto campus The Reaching for Higher Ground program hosted a showing of the film "Food Matters". After the film a discussion was held over the importance of eating healthful foods.
