Conar Reed was arrested for child endangerment and obstruction of emergency communication on campus. Reed was caring for an infant for several days at Hillside Courts. When the mother returned she noticed bruising on the infants buttocks.

13 Final win not good enough for playoffs

UNI football defeated Western Illinois University 28-13 during their last game of the season. The Panthers 8-4 record was not enough to secure a spot in the subdivision playoffs. David Johnson was named First Team All-Missouri Valley Conference.
14 Panthers fall to SIU in MVC Tournament

Panther volleyball lost to Southern Illinois University in the semifinals of the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament. The overall record this season was 23-8. Several players were given Missouri Valley Conference titles.
