Student loan debt has decreased 10 percent since 2010 for the average UNI student. The "Live Like a Student" program may be helping The program educates students on financial choices and borrowing responsibly.
3 University releases new mobile app UNI recently released a mobile application to help students connect to the university. The app provides a schedule of UNI events, menus for dining centers, maps, and emergency contact information. Students can access app this from any smartphone.

6 Panthers 3-1 in MVC

UNI women's basketball defeated Southern Illinois University, 87-53. This improved UNI's Missouri Valley Conference record to 3-1. UNI has started to work really well as a team. The Panthers will travel to take on Wichita State University.
7 Panthers bury Bulldogs 76-66

UNI men's basketball team defeated Drake University, 76-66. The Panthers came from behind with seven minutes left and went on a 28-8 run. Coach Jacobson was pleased with the Panthers' performance; photo.
8 UNI improves to 3-0 in MAC
