1 Sesame Street's Elmo to visit UNI's eighth African-American Read-In UNI will host their eighth annual African-American Read-In. Children from the Cedar Valley will be reading books and learning more about African-American culture. There will even be a guest appearance from Sesame Street's Elmo.
2 UNI event aims to empower African-America community UNI will host the third annual Conference on African-American Children and Families. The conference looks to educate those in attendance on diversity. There will be several breakout sessions and a keynote speaker, Janice Hale.
3 UNI Interpreters Theater to present 'Wasted' UNI Interpreters Theater will present "Wasted". The show will challenge the understanding of waste and consumption. The ensemble production was conceived and directed by Danielle Dick McGeough and is part of UNI's Reaching for Higher Ground series.
4 UNIBusiness student organizations unite for local, global causes Student organizations in the College of Business are working together to make positive changes locally and globally. Students will be planting trees in Cedar Falls as well as raising money for International Medical Corps.
