1 Iowa Waste Reduction Center announces Tech Days event The Iowa Waste Reduction Center (IWRC) at UNI is excited to announce Tech Days 2014. The event is September 30 and October 1 at the STAR4D Painter Training Facility in Cedar Falls.

4 UNI retains rank among top Midwest public universities on U.S. News & World Report list UNI retained its No. 2 ranking in the "Best Regional Universities (Midwest)" category for public universities. UNI was also ranked No. 18 on a combined list of all public and private Midwest regional universities.
5 University of Northern Iowa releases fall 2014 enrollment numbers UNI released its official enrollment figures for fall 2014, which is 11,928. Officials report that new students direct from high school are up more than 4 percent from last year.
