Bernie Sanders came to UNI while on the campaign trail. Due to weather, the event was held in the West Gym and around 500 UNI students attended. Students Spencer Rodriguez, Lauren Jorge, Tyra Wanatee, Marlon Jackson spoke to the paper about their reasons for attending. 2 Exhibit examines misrepresentation in art

Artist Jack Balas's solo show, "Jack Balas Against the Grain: Men, Maps, and Other Incorrections," was exhibited at the UNI Gallery of Art from August 19 - October 5. UNI Gallery of Art Director Darrell Taylor discussed the show's planning and importance. After the show, Balas will donate a piece to UNI's collection. Performance artist Tim Miller will present in the gallery on October 1; photos.
