UNI alum Rachel Bearinger released her debut album on September 20th, 2019, and did an exclusive interview with the Northern Iowan. This is Bearinger's first album and it features herself and many other current and former UNI students. She was inspired by her family and life experience and each song was a collaboration.
2 Women's Gold Place first at MVC Preview

Women's golf placed first at the Missouri Valley Conference with a carded total of 942 strokes. Juniors Hannah Bermel and Emily Snelling tied for all-around first place with final scores of 229. The team will be competing in Manoa, HI, for the Rainbow Wahine Invitational.

3 UNI professor earns Fulbright to Israel
Alldredge--Anna (Student--2019)
UNI Assistant Professor of Digital Media Philip Hopper will be embarking on his second Fulbright experience in spring 2020. Hopper will be traveling to Israel to collaborate with Professor Boaz LevTov and together, accompanied by a team of students, will expand upon the LevTov Time Travel Tunnel Project. The project is to expand upon the oral history and families that live in an area called the Triangle that includes a population of mostly Palestinians or Israeli Palestinians. Hopper and LevTov hope to explore more of the area and people's history and share it with the outside world and Israeli diaspora; photo.
