Rialto dining center is once again offering late breakfast and lunch hours after eliminating late breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the beginning of the fall 2019 semester. In addition to the reinstated hours at Rialto, the UNI Dining Services reveled that they would open Piazza and Rialto all weekend long at the start of the spring 2020 semester this January; photo.
2 RRTTC to host wetland clean-up

The Recycling and Reuse Technology Transfer Center (RRTTC) met in the northern Wellness and Recreation Center (WRC) parking lot to clean up the ponds north of the WRC. This was in an effort to clean up trash from the local wetlands before winter arrives. This event has been going on for 14 year and is one way for give back to the planet; photo.

The Harry Potter Club is being revitalized by Amanda Bruns, Noelle Patton, and Sydney Barnum. The club will be a place for fans of the franchise to make new friends, share their love of the series, and overall offer a fun and creative way to take a break from stress classes and jobs create. 7 Panthers take down Sycamores 2-1 in overtime

The Panther women's soccer team defeated the Indiana State Sycamores, 2-1. The first goal was by Jordyn Rolli in the 31st minute and it was followed in the 72nd minute by Indiana State. The game went into overtime and freshman Kennedy Rieken, named the MVC Newcomer of the Week, came through and won a goal in the 98th minute. This moved UNI to 1-2 in conference play and 5-7 overall for the season; photo.
8 Panthers tie for sixth at Bubba Barnett Tournament

The Panther men's golf team tied for sixth place, carding a total of 891, at the Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate Tournament in Jonesboro, Arkansas. The tournament was hosted by the Arkansas State University at the RidgePointe Country Club, an 18-hole golf course just two hours north of Little Rock.
9 Wells' passion to mentor underprivileged youth

Brawntae Wells, a junior defensive lineman on the football team, was recognized as the October Playmaker of the Month. He received this award due to his off-the-field passion to mentor and inspire underprivileged youth. This recognition was given out by the Institute for Sport and Social Justice. Wells works as a volunteer youth mentor with the Juvenile Court Services in Waterloo and at the Central Iowa Juvenile Detention Center. He is currently on pace to graduate with a degree in Family Services and a minor in Criminology; photo.
