McGuill--Lauren (Student--2019), Leitner--Gabrielle (Class of 2020) 		The UNI Center for Multicultural Education (CME) hosted a panel discussion with Black and African American students. This was the latest panel in the "What Your Students Want You to Know" series, which was launched in November 2019 to feature voices of UNI students from diverse populations. 3 Art Dept. lecture covers feminist art
Mitchell--Cecilia (Class of 2022) 		Dr. Claire Kovacs presented a lecture titled 'The SisterSerpents' Rage + Bodily Autonomy" in Kammerick Art Building. A group of students, faculty, and community members was in attendance. Presenter Dr. Claire Kovacs gave the lecture "The SisterSerpents' Rage + Bodily Autonomy" in the Kamerick Art Building. She was introduced by UNI art faculty member Dr. Elizabeth Sutton, and also briefly talked about the "Empowered" show she co-curated on display in the Gallery of Art.
4 NISG debate set for Wed., Feb. 19
Kelsey--Elizabeth (Class of 2021) 		The Northern Iowa Student Government (NISG) will host its annual debate in Maucker Union Coffeehouse. At the event, presidential and vice presidential candidates Elle Boeding and Rachel Greene will speak with students and present their platform. Since Boeding and Greene are the only presidential ticket running, the event will serve more as a town hall session, as opposed to the traditional debate format.

Alldredge--Anna (Student--2019), Legaspi--Sofia (Class of 2020) 		Alldredge gives the one-night-only program "Black History: A Musical Journey" performed by the Multicultural Theatrical Society in the Communication Arts Center on February 15 a favorable review. Hansen--Patrick (Class of 2024), Fortmann--Toni (Class of 2022) 		The Panthers wrestling team defeated West Virginia, 36-6, in the West Gymnasium during senior night. It was the last home meet for seniors Isaiah Patton, Bryce Steiert, Jay Schwarm, Paden Moore, Taylor Lujan, and Max Thomsen.
