Iowa waste reduction center at University of Northern Iowa receives state grant to study recycling of foundry sand.

With a $130,000 grant from the state legislature, the Iowa Waste Reduction Center and Northern Iowa's Industrial Technology Department will examine the feasibility of large scale foundry sand recycling.
