| Cayman Islands Classic cancelled for 2020-21 | Cayman Islands Classic, one of the most prestigious pre-season basketball tournaments, has been cancelled for the 2020-21 season due to COVID-19 precautions and the shift of the NCAA season. Pre-season tournaments allow coaches to scout for players for Selection Sunday but due to the cancellation, this selection process will be more difficult for the 2021-22 year. |
| Sept. 30, 2006: Panthers give ISU all they can handle | In 2006 the Panthers traveled to Jack Trice Stadium for a matchup with the Iowa State Cyclones. Although a close game throughout the entire game, within the last 6 seconds the Panther field goal was missed leaving the Cyclones with a win 28-27. A good game for the Panthers considering they were very out-matched, leaving them with 2-3 on that season. |
