6	Cagers break the ice in NCC by splitting games	After losing to South Dakota, 87-82, in overtime on Friday, UNI finally won a conference game with a 66-63 win over Morningside Saturday night in the Men's Gym.
7	Wrestlers return	UNI split a pair of NCC meets over the weekend losing 17-15 to North Dakota State and beating North Dakota ,33-6.
7	Gymnasts lose two	UNI came in last in a meet against Iowa and Kansas, but Dave Engle and Mark DeVolder both qualified for the nationals in the vault and horizontal bar, respectively.
7	Track season takes off	The UNI track and field season starts Saturday, February 5, as the Panthers host Augustana, Northeast Missouri, and Mankato State.
