3 A Midterm break proposal A day off between Labor Day and Thanksgiving proposed. The benefits would be a catch up day for visiting a professor, homework, papers, or going home. A break would encourage students and hopefully improve attentiveness.

4 Thanksgiving: going from overlooked to forgotten The transition between Halloween and Christmas should not be overlooked. Thanksgiving continues to be a major holiday based on family traditions; causing us to stop and think of all for which we have to be thankful.
