7 Students celebrate Chinese New Year The evening of February 13 marked a Chinese New Year's party in the Center for Multicultural Education. Those who attended enjoyed violin and dance performances, games, and a Chinese buffet.

16 Women's tennis continues home court success Women's tennis team defeats Gustavus Adolphus College, University of North Dakota, and Western Illinois. The team has compiled a 26-7 record on its home courts.
18 UNI track and field runs into tough competition The Iowa State Classic had nine of the top fifty men's teams and six of the women's top fifty teams represented. Team members continue to shave their times prior to the conference meet.
