2 St. Stephen the Witness to present John Angotti Catholic Student Center will present John Angotti in concert at the Gallagher-Bluedorn Performing Arts Center. Angotti is a Christian music artist and has been involved with the Waterloo school system and the Cedar Valley for several years.
3 NISG president vetoes constitutional overhaul Joel Anderson expressed concerns with the passed constitutional overhaul; prior to his vetoing the measure.
4 UNI's NABL receives FRA grant Ag-Based Lubricant Center awarded a $371,373 grant from the Federal Railroad Administration. Research for the use of biofuels for locomotives, using soybeans. Environmental footprint is greatly reduced using this fuel.

5 UNI School of Music present 'Chimes of Christmas' Gallagher-Bluedorn Performing Arts Center hosted vocal groups from the School of Music. Choir members filed through the aisles, sang on stage, and from the balcony. The hall was filled with holiday spirit; photo.

5 Circus coming to town The second installment of Sissy's Sircus to be presented at the Oster Regent Theater. The show is full length burlesque that is sure to please the audience; photo.
6 UNI Gallery of Art to feature various students' works Five graduating art students will have their works on exhibit at the Gallery of Art. The opening reception is December 9 at 7:00 pm and it is free and open to the public.

12 DJKaput The arrest of Derrell Johnson-Koulianos for drug possession seems to cap the season for the Hawkeye football team. DJK was the leading receiver and has been suspended from all team activities; prior to the bowl game.
