4	Happy Valentine's Day for all	Students challenged to find a way to enjoy the day, whether they are in a romantic relationship, or not. Make certain those friends you care about know how you feel.
4	The greatest show on earth	Believes that legislation to stop online piracy is much too complicated. The Internet is the closest thing to a circus, but it continues to be a magical place. It is difficult to imagine censorship of the Internet.
5	Random Acts of Kindness Week encourages students to take on volunteer opportunities	Volunteer Center of Cedar Valley joined with UNI in 2008 to promote volunteer events in the Cedar Valley. Iowa is the second largest volunteer state with over 880,000 official volunteers.

6	GBPAC brews up fifth beer and cuisine sampling event	Samuel Adams brewmaster to judge first Home Brewers Contest. The event will be held as part of a fund raising event for the Friends of Gallagher-Bluedorn Performing Arts Center.
6	Relay for Life Kickoff sows seeds for spring event	The Hub hosted the kickoff party. Currently there are four hundred registered participants. The goal is one thousand. The relay will take place at the McLeod Center.
11	UNI cruises to 78-63 victory over Illinois State behind 12 3 pointers	Men's basketball team made their conference record 7-8 with the win. The Panthers are presently in sixth place, but only two games out of third; photo.
11	UNI fans: set high expectations	Storming the court following the Creighton victory was surprising. Certainly, it was a big win, but not like winning the conference tournament for an NCAA bid.
11	Panthers drop two games on the road	Women's basketball team loses to Illinois State and Indiana State. Team presently is in fourth place in the conference, but only one game out of first place; photo.
