8 Students discuss influential women in their lives Celebrating Colors: Women Past, Present and Future was an event sponsored by the Women's and Gender Studies Program. During the event, people shared stories of the lives of their mothers and grandmothers.
9 Panelists tackle the idea of the 'modern family' Professor Chananie-Hill's feminist theories in the social sciences class held a modern parenthood panel. This panel addressed varying ideas of what makes up a modern family. Raising children in a same-sex family was a popular discussion topic.
