UNI observes inaugural 'Arctic Day'

UNI's first "Arctic Day" was held on January 31 in conjunction with the launch of University of the Arctic (UArctic) and the ARCTICenter on campus. The center held a launch and information in Rod Library followed by scholar Tatiana Egorova's presentation "The Peoples of Frozen II: the Saami Culture in the Arctic" in the Innovative Teaching and Technology Center (ITTC). Its goal is to provide research and education about the North.
