UNI history prof publishes book on American role of Austrian occupation; book covers previoulsy little studied aspect of World War II

Donald Whitnah's book fills a gap in the postwar history of Europe, by detailing the events which led to the occupation; the agreements between the allies, and the confusion, rivalry and lack of direction of American efforts.
