May UNI grad develops hospice program to help area families cope with grief

Began as a UNI research project by Karen Franks; turned into a job as a bereavement services coordinator for the Cedar Valley Hospice; she developed a new program; she stresses the role of volunteers and hopes to make an impact on the hospice movement.
