Paullina native wins communications scholarship at University of Northern Iowa.

Darci Shirk has been named the 1990 recipient of the Irene M. Thompson Scholarship. She won the $475 scholarship based on service and grade point average. Shirk's cumulative GPA is 3.79 on a 4.0 scale.
