UNI student wins first place in national carpet design contest

Emily Riebkes, a sophomore majoring in interior design from Wellsburg, has won the student grand prize in the Durkan D*scover Design Competition. She will receive a $3,000 scholarship and a trip to Las Vegas for the Hospitality Design Exposition.
