10/31/2022 The "Our Stories: Women in Afghanistan" panel, organized largely by the UNI Women's and Gender Studies program, took place on October 27th in Lang Hall Auditorium. Five women traveled from various parts of the U.S. to share their stories and insight on the women's rights issues in Afghanistan. The five women in the panel were Hakima Afzaly, Hasina Jalal, Zamira Saidi, Zuhal Salim, and Roquiya Sayeq; photo.
