Caroline Christensen interviews the owner of Verdin Company Tim Verdin who has a long history with UNI. The Verdin Company installed the clock movements on the Campanile in the 1940s and added the new bells in 1968; photo.

5 Campanile upgrades commence

10/3/2022 The carillon instrument inside the Campanile will be getting nine new bells, the Campanile's clock faces will be replaced and the landscaping around the Campanile will be redone. All of this is expected to be completed by 2026; photo.
6 UNI to host carillonneur Karel Keldermans April 29 and 30

4/20/2010 Keldermans has been a visiting artist on the carillon bells since 1992, including a performance in 2006 commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Campanile. Keldermans is a noted performer and historian on carillon bells.
