In Ames, several Panthers finished in the top ten: Cam Bauer - first place triple jump with a career-best of 14.29 meters for fifth place overall in the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC); Darius King - first place weight throw with a career best of 16.12 meters and third overall in the MVC; Sven Van Den Bergh - sixth place in 400 meter dash; McKayla Cole - ninth in 5K.
