Died at her home in Melrose, Iowa, September 27, 1945. Prior to her marriage she taught in the schools of Riverside and Monticello, Iowa. In 1934, she was appointed postmistress at Melrose. Two sons, Richard and James, and a daughter, Loraine, survive.
