1/16/2020 The Wellness and Recreation Center (WRC) updated the facilities by including a large fitness room that would allow students to access the WRC and use it throughout the day. Currently, students are not allowed to use specific areas of the WRC due to classes taking place. Christopher Denison, Director of Recreation Services, hoped that this would allow students to use the WRC instead of paying a facility or service not associated with UNI.

9/16/2019 Recreation Services had instigated a semester fee for instrumental sports. Students are required to have a membership to play the fall, 2019-2020 semester. Many have opted to not pay the membership fee, but some have; photo.
