Price was also named the team's most valuable player and played in the second annual Iowa Senior All-Star game at Cedar Rapids. Senior Phil Roberts, Bill Strottman, Dick Olin also played in the game for the college stars coached by SCI's Stan Sheriff and assistant Don Erusha. The college stars won.
