Dormitories held open houses and special dinners on the annual Dad's Day at TC. The Dad's Day Committee chose Mr. Walter L. Sullivan, father of John L. Sullivan, was chosen as Dad of the Day. This was due to John's achievements. John is a physical education major with minors in biology and mathematics. He is active in the student body government, vice-president of the Men's Union, and one of the captains of the football team. He has been nominate to the hall of Recognition the past two years. | |

The Men's Union is an organization of all men students on campus work to enlarge the opportunities for men to develop the campus and community. The MU organized many events through out the year with highlights being the annual style show co-sponsored with the AWS and men's intramural. The main features was the relay competition between houses and a beard-growing contest. MU also sponsors a number of scholarships and extracurriculars. |
