6/1/1960 The TC Relays were held in the spring. Eleven colleges and thirty-seven high schools sent athletes to compete. Five records were broken, four high school and one college. The Iowa Teachers broke the standing two mile record that was previously set by this college. Sharon Wykle was crowned queen of the event by Dr. Daryl Pendergradt. Her court consisted of Naomi Harold, Kay Klienheksel, and Jean Wilson.
