4/15/2019 Paralympic medalist and UNI sophomore Jessica Heims broke the world discus throwing record for lower limb prosthetic at the Musco Twilight Meet in Iowa City. Heims also broke the world record for the 100-meter dah under the same F64 classification. 1/28/2019 Individual winners at the UNI-Dome Jack Jennett Open included Cade Kirkpatrick, Katie Cross, Maddie McCalla, and McKayla Cole. At Iowa's City's Black and Gold Premier, UNI won five events, including individuals Tayshaun Cooper, Alex Jackson, Darius King, Keegan Tritle, and Lyndsie Schinkel; photos.

11/1/2018 The men and women's cross country teams placed fifth in both competitions. Wal Khat placed 8th overall and was named to the all-conference team. McKayla Cole finished 12th and was an honorable mention.
4 UNI finds success at Bradley Invitational

9/6/2018 The men's and women's cross country team competed in their first meet. The women's team finished fourht out of six and the men's finished fifth. Gabby Champion, Alyssa Williams, and Wal Khat placed in the top 15 of their races.
