10/14/2019 Former First Lady Laura Bush had a sold-out crowd at her visit to UNI at Gallagher-Bluedorn Performing Arts Center (GBPAC) as part of the Joy Cole Corning Distinguished Lecture Series. Corning was a graduate of UNI (then Iowa State Teacher's College) and established the lecture series to give the students opportunities to hear from distinguished leaders. President Mark Nook hosted the Q&A session; photos.
