Hiroko Katsuyama returned to UNI to receive her master's degree. Hiroko, who is blind, is being helped into her graduation robe by Dr. Barry Wilson. Hiroko teaches attendants of handicapped people at Kacho Junior College, a Buddhist College in Kyoto.

Asia Foundation will fund a two-week visit to Japan. Doug Vernier will be part of a delegation of leaders to get a feeling on a variety of issues. The Iowa delegation members discussed issues of trade, agricultural unions, business leaders and others.
