12/3/2018 Article announces that a new food and essentials pantry is being constructed in the Maucker Union to provide support to students who are food insecure. Vice President of Student Affairs, Paula Knudson conducted interviews around campus and created a survey to find out how many UNI students would directly benefit. Knudson is confident the food and essentials pantry will be operational by Fall 2019, and welcomes food and monetary donations in the meantime.
