UNI's International Justice Mission (IJM) hosted a pop-up thrift store called "Threads" at the Maucker Union Ballroom. The goal of this activity was to not only raise funds for human trafficking but also to spread awareness of human trafficking around the world. Knowles also talked about a seven-week residency program that she and other faculty from all over the country host.
