8/29/2019 The Center of Multicultural Education held their beginning of the school year event at Maucker Union on August 26, 2019. They held a BBQ and a host of other food from different cultures. President of UNI, Mark Nook, attended the event and was happy to see the campus full of people/students once more. Other foundations and campus organizations attended the event and spoke of the up coming school year fondly.

4 UNI to host one-man play 'Beyond Glory'

10/30/2014 The one-man play "Beyond Glory" will be performed at Gallagher-Bluedorn Performing Arts Center (GBPAC), November 13. Ticket prices range from #28 to $45 and can be purchased at any UNItix location. Veterans may receive one free ticket to the show.
5 University of Northern Iowa designated as military friendly school for fifth year

9/25/2014 UNI has been selected by G.I. Jobs Magazine as a Military Friendly School for 2015. Criteria for making the Military Friendly Schools list include recruitment and retention of military and veteran students and academic accreditations.
6 UNI to host Y Factor: Military Summit April 15

4/8/2014 UNI will be hosting The Y Factor Iowa: Military Summit on Tuesday April 15. The daylong conference is for ROTC cadets, guard, and reserve units both active and retired. The event is free and open to the public.
