1/16/2020 Hunter Friesen had a busy holiday break and went to the movie theater and reviewed the films he watched. Each film he reviewed was on a scale from 0 to 5 Paw Prints. "Cats" (2017) was a strange film with 97% of the film sung rather than spoken. It received mixed reviews and feedback from watchers. 2.5/5 Paw Prints. "Star Wars: Episode IX: Rise of Skywalker" was the final film in a disappointing trilogy. The cast was the best part of the film. 3/5 Paw Prints. "Bombshell" was a well written and spiritual sequel to 2015's "The Big Short." The film highlighted the toxic culture within Fox News. 3.5/5 Paw Prints. "1917" is the best film of the year on a purely technical level. The film carried a tone that resonated with the audience as the story of two characters plagued by World War I as they rush to save the Allies. 4/5 Paw Prints. “Little Women" was a gift delivered on Christmas Day. Based on Louisa May Alcott's novel of the same name. Friesen claimed, 'Everything about this film is perfect in its special way. This is the best film of the year and one of the best ever seen." 5/5 Paw Prints.
