2/6/2020 On February 3, the UNI Muslim Students Association celebrated World Hijab Day and encouraged people of all backgrounds and religions to wear them. Founded in 2013 by Nazma Khan, World Hijab Day has been celebrated on February 1 in over 140 countries. Muslim Students Association President Luma Yasin discussed the meaning of wearing the hijab, and the association aimed to address misconceptions about the hijab and Muslim culture; photos.
