Northern Iowa Student Government has teamed up with Active Minds, Black Student Union, To Write Love on Her Arms and UNI Counseling Services to help coordinate this event. Sarah Rassing, a graduate student and NISG Director of Mental Health helped coordinate the events to hopefully make this annual. Brian Nissen emphasizes the importance of students to the university, as well as Jennifer Schneiderman, director of counseling services at UNI helps students know the help campus provides. On September 26, the Northern Iowa Student Government (NISG) confirmed 14 students to the lower cabinet and reported two vacant Senate seats. Students confirmed included Shelby Schroeder, Connor Dunsbergen, Akanksha Sahni, Alex Carlson, Alex Hutchins, Maria Renken, Denise Kassis, Hugh Zehr, Caitlyn Wlte, Sarah Rasing, Nikia Watson, Ben Knaak, Mahlia Brown, and Cole Passick.
