1/28/2021 The Maucker Union food court and Schindigs in Schindler Education Center close for the semester due to the pandemic and reduced sales. Additionally, TC's Takeout from the 23rd Street Market will no longer be offered. The food court will hopefully reopen in Fall 2021. 9/26/2019 Banned Books Week has returned to UNI, celebrated by Rod Library and the College of Education with multiple displays around campus. The American Library Association (ALA) maintains a list of banned books, which are books challenged by individuals or groups who want them removed from public and school libraries.
