The finalists were Jo Ann Tekippe, Judy Larson, Joyce Schutter, Vicky Jacob, Sharon Wykle, Judy Nelson, Kay Hampel, Susan James, Shirley Peterson, and Patricia Thompson. Crowned queen of the event was Mary Eleanor Paulk.

3 Bartlett Houses Freshman Women

6/1/1960 Bartlett is one of the oldest dorms on campus and houses approximately 400 freshman women and 46 counselors. The students are able to participate in social hours, resident events, social services, and creating fundraisers. Counselors headed the governmental units until the freshman elected their own. House council is composed of chairmen from each corridor. The highest unit of organization was the executive council made up of four executive officers and seven committee chairmen; Photo.
