Paishence Johnson won the women's 60-meter dash, Emily Vos won the women's 200-meter dash, Matteo Capello won the men's pole vault, and Darius King won the men's shot put. King's 19.67 meters earned him the Missouri Valley Conference Male Field Athlete of the week. Day one of the indoor track and field Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) was held in the UNI-Dome. On the men's team, six advanced to the finals in five different events: 60 meter dash - Isaiah Trousil, Tayshaun Cooper, Eli Hicks; 60 meter hurdles - Jak Sumners; 200 meter dash - Isaiah Trousil, Tayshaun Cooper, Eli Hicks; 800 meter dash - Wal Khat; mile - CJ May. On the women's team, six advanced in three events: 60 meter hurdles - Hannah Schau, Megan Hudson; 200 meter dash - Taylor Raines, Tyler Gray; 800 meter - Dianna Slight, Katie Nimrod. Six additional athletes received all-conference honors: Chase Van Sant, Jack Sumners, Kyler Yodts, Darius King, Isabelle Holtzen, and Cam Bauer.
