The UNI track and field team traveled to Ames, IA to compete in the Iowa State Classic and the Minneapolis, MN to compete in the Cold Classic. In Ames, several Panthers finished in the top ten: Cam Bauer - first place triple jump with a career-best of 14.29 meters for fifth place overall in the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC); Darius King - first place weight throw with a career best of 16.12 meters and third overall in the MVC; Sven Van Den Bergh - sixth place in 400 meter dash; McKayla Cole - ninth in 5K.
