The vaccination was paused due to six female individuals having severe blood clots within the last 6-13 days. 3/25/2021 Governor Kim Reynolds announced all Iowa adults will be eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine on April 5; in response, UNI released a survey gauging interest in the vaccine in order to assist the Black Hawk County Health Department in preparations.
