DACA dreamers close to home

Hundreds of community members, including current and former UNI students, gathered on Main Street to denounce the Trump administration's repeal of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. It was organized by groups including Cedar Valley Advocates for Immigrant and Refugee Rights (CVAIRR), Americans for Democratic Action Iowa, and Panthers for DREAM Iowa.
