Article Summary | The UNI African Union hosted Ankara Night on December 8, 2018 at 7:00pm in the Maucker Union Ballroom. The event consisted of five speakers from the African Union raising awareness of issues that affect the lives of people of African decent. Between speakers there was singing, dancing, and recitations of original poetry as well as a dance to follow. Ankara is colorful African fabric. The multi-colored, vibrant fabric serves to represent the vibrancy and diversity of African culture. |
