1 An introduction to VersaCAD will be offered Saturday (Oct. 28) by the Univresity of Northern Iowa indutrial technology department. VersaCAD software will be used for instruction and practice exercises. Instruction will pertain to both IBM and Macintosh II computers; however, emphasis will be given to the Mac II applications.
2 Artist to present lecture Thursday (Nov. 2) at University of Northern Iowa. Pam Longobardi will present a lecture on her narrative paintings and prints. Longobardi's pieces range from large eight-by-five foot colorful paintings, to black and white drawings.

A case study of state support for higher education in Iowa will also be featured, including a sector analysis of institutions within the state. State tax funds are the largest revenue source for campus operating budgets in the public sector.
5 Introduction to hydrostatic drives seminar to be held November 8 and 9 at the University of Northern Iowa. Day one will cover hydrostatic drive theory, advantages and types of hydrostatic drives, and system components. Day two will cover basic design criteria, operation, trouble shooting and applications.
