Board of Regents opposes 'Fetal Heartbeat' bill The Iowa Senate Judiciary Committee approved a bill which will criminalize abortions after a fetal heartbeat has been detected. The bill has met backlash by medical student in the state of Iowa who would not be able to receive accreditation if they are not trained in abortion.
