27	Arabelle Krueger	Married Albert Turner, on June 23, 1946. Before her marriage, she taught in Lake City and Jefferson. A veteran of World War II, Albert is employed by the Iowa Public Service Company in Lake City, where they reside.
27	Dorothy Porter	Married Herman Moen, on June 14, 1946. Dorothy taught for two years at Melvin and three years at Sibley, Iowa, previous to her marriage. Her husband is an implement dealer in Inwood, Iowa, where the couple lives.
27	Pauline Scott	Married Dan L. Wilcox, on March 24, 1946. Pauline is teaching English at Griswold, Iowa, where they reside.
28	Eleanor Ann McLaughlin	Married to James Neil O'Bryon, on June 22, 1946. Before her marriage, Eleanor taught at Liscomb, Iowa. The couple now live in Marshalltown, where James is employed.
28	Marjorie Diana Moodie	Married to Rudolph Vodicka, Jr., on July 17, 1946. Prior to her marriage, Marjorie taught for two years in the Mt. Vernon, Iowa, schools. Rudolph is associated with his father in business in Mt. Vernon.
28	Ina Mae Payne	Married Eugene Moffitt, on June 14, 1946. Ina is continuing to teach at Buckingham, Iowa. Eugene is engaged in farming.
28	Mary Stein	Married to John F. Riepe at Burlington, Iowa, July 6. Before her marriage, she taught in Burlington. Ensign Riepe is now a navigator on a patrol bomber. They live in Panama where Ensign Riepe is stationed.
28	Ann Stickrod	Married Dean Einspahr, on June 15, 1946. For the past year, Ann has been teaching in Sioux City, Iowa. In the fall, Dean will attend Iowa State College at Ames, where he and Ann will reside.
28	Bernice Walker	Married Theodore J. Petzinger, on July 3, 1946. Since graduation, Bernice taught for two years at Hull School, Rockford, Illinois. Theodore is assistant superintendent of the Bexley waterworks in Columbus, Ohio, where they reside.
28	Shirley Bagge	Married Arnold Ricklefs, on June 17, 1946. Before her marriage, she taught in the Titonka grade school.

28	Mary Helen Holtby and F. John Pylman, Jr.	Married on June 23, 1946. John returned in May from three years in the service. Mary has been teaching at Story City, Iowa, for two years. They reside in Cedar Falls, where John will continue work toward his degree.
28	Mary Jane Holm	Married Milvern Barz. Before her marriage, she taught in the Klemme school for three years. The couple are living on a farm near Klemme, Iowa.
28	Lucille Huibregtse and Glenn Gerdes	Married on June 15, 1946. Before her marriage, she taught in Jesup for two years. Glenn will teach school at Vermont, Illinois, this fall.
28	Ruth Arlene Jones	Married Glenn Burgraff, on June 30, 1946. Before her marriage, she taught in the Madison, Iowa schools for three years. The couple will be at home in Iowa City this fall, where Glenn will enter the University of Iowa.
28	Harriet Louise Mason	Married Albert C. Gravatt, on June 16, 1946. Before her marriage, Harriet taught two years at Marcus and one year at Fort Dodge, Iowa. They will live in Traer, Iowa.
28	Edna Mouchka	Married William Schindhelm, on June 27, in Iowa City. Before her marriage, she taught in the Johnson County schools. William is employed by the Rock Island Railroad. They now live in Iowa City, Iowa.
28	Darlene Pearson	Married Harold D. Pitsenbarger, on May 25, 1946. Before her marriage, she taught in the Redfield and Dallas Center, Iowa, schools. They reside on a farm near Redfield, Iowa.
28	James F. Fox	Married Beth E. Knecht, on August 19, 1946. James will be coaching in the public schools of Britt, Iowa, this fall.

28	Shirley Marie Grow	Married Richard S. Young, on June 16, 1946. Shirley is teaching second grade in the Longfellow School at Council Bluffs, and her husband is attending Creighton University. They reside in Council Bluffs.
28	T. Wayne Davis	Married Adele Whitenack of Wood-Ridge, New Jersey, on August 4, 1946. Wayne, a Navy veteran, is employed by the Latta School Supply House of Cedar Falls. Adele was a statistical research worker for the California Taxpayers Association.
29	Harriett Fagan and Norman E. White	Married on May 25, 1946. They now reside at Washington, Iowa. Norman is coach at the junior college.
29	Patricia Traeder	Married Vernon E. Barnhouse, on June 16, 1946. Patricia has been teaching for the past year in the Clinton schools. They will reside in Casey, Iowa, where Vernon will be associated with his father in farming.
29	Irene Wickersheim	Married Clyde A. Brunskill on July 14, 1946. They operate a dairy farm west of Cedar Falls.
29	Verdice B. Haffner	Married Ovia Charles Wood on June 26, 1946. Ovia Charles, who served in the Navy three years, is a former Iowa State College student. Their address is Wewoka, Oklahoma.
29	Virginia Lee Clayton	Married Marlus Olds, on June 28, 1946. Virginia plans to teach in the Janesville consolidated school next year. Marlus is an employee of the Texaco station. They will reside in Cedar Falls with Virginia's parents.
29	Reba Gaile Flathers	Married George F. Schuck on June 23, 1946. Reba taught in the Prairie City, Iowa, high school. They will live in Palmyra, New Jersey.
29	Mary Elizabeth Sykes	Married Glen Martin on June 29, 1946. They reside in Cedar Falls. Glen is employed by the Martin Paper Distributing Company.
29	Janelle Murdock	Married Gerald L. Kewatt of Eldora, on August 4, 1946. They will reside in Eldora where Gerald is in the contracting business. Janelle taught in the public schools of Dike, Iowa, last year.
29	Lola Larie Pine	Married Clark Allen Sweetser, on July 7, 1946. Before her marriage, Lola taught in the Rolfe, Iowa school. Clark planned to re-enter Iowa State College in September, working toward his master's degree in structural engineering.
29	Marlys Jean Engstrom	Married Robert C. Heide on June 9, 1946. Before her marriage, Betty taught second grade at Renwick, Iowa, last year and will continue her duties there this year.
29	Betty Haaf	Married Don Schlect, on June 1, 1946. Before her marriage, Betty taught school at Grand River No. 7. Don served overseas 22 months with the 8th Air Force. They will reside in Yakima, Washington.
29	Barbara McCollough	Married Richard C. Talcott on June 28, 1946. Barbara formerly taught in the schools at Manson but will teach at Kelley, Iowa, this year. Richard is enrolled in the architectural engineers department at Iowa State College. They reside in Ames, Iowa.
29	Beth Ione Anderson	Married Donald D. Dirks, on June 16, 1946. Before her marriage, she was a grade instructor at Dinsdale, Iowa. In September they will reside in Iowa City, Iowa, where Donald will complete work toward a degree.
29	Betty Bazel	Married John Griste, on April 21, 1946. They are now living in Columbia, Missouri, where John is attending the University of Missouri. Before her marriage, Betty taught at Davenport, Iowa.
29	Reva Cooney	Married Murl Greenfield, on May 31, 1946. Before her marriage, Reva taught in the rural schools of Adams County for three and one-half years. They now reside in Villisca, Iowa.
29	Barbara Dewees	Married Mac W. Updegraft on May 25, 1946. Barbara taught in the kindergarten department of the schools at Britt, Iowa, during the past year.
29	Margaret Tanner	Married Don Martin in June, 1946. Before her marriage, Margaret taught in the Blanche Stoddard school in Iowa Falls, Iowa. They will live on a farm near Eagle Grove, Iowa.
29	Dorothy Thomae	Married Victor Steege, on June 7, 1946. Before her marriage, she taught in the New Hartford Consolidated School for two years. The bridegroom served four years with the 34th Division and was discharged in July 1945. They reside in Tama, Iowa.
30	Mr. and Mrs. Keith Able, (Helen Risser)	Announce the birth of a son, Roger Wayne. Helen formerly taught at Springville, Stanwood, and Clear Lake, Iowa, before her marriage, June 8, 1944.
30	Mr. and Mrs. William J. Watts, (Helen Streed)	Of Brooklyn, New York, announce the birth of a daughter, Nora Lynn. Helen taught in the Brooklyn schools last year.
30	Lt. and Mrs. H. Edwin Bro, (Constance Gullixson)	Of San Antonio, Texas, announce the birth of a son, Brian Edwin. Lt. Bro is in charge of the tools and machinery branch of the supply division at Kelly Field, Texas.
30	Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Jensen, (Mary Ann Smith)	Announce the birth of a son, Robert Lyle, Jr. Robert was released from the Navy last November, and is operating a store in Graettinger, Iowa.

30	Lt. and Mrs. Clifford Gregory Hall, (Ruth Yocum)	Announce the birth of a daughter, Lizabeth Ann. Prior to her marriage Ruth taught in Iowa City. She is making her home with her parents in Sutherland, Iowa, while her husband is in the service on Oahu.
30	Mr. and Mrs. John Stahly, (Doris Volz)	Of St. Paul, Minnesota, announce the birth of a son, John Wilson. John was a lieutenant in the Army and is now employed by the Sherwin Williams Company in St. Paul.

30	Mr. and Mrs. H. Gordon Benson	Of Ft. Dodge, Iowa, announce the birth of a son, John Mark. Gordon was discharged in October 1945, after three years of service with the Navy. He has now resumed his former position with the Ft. Dodge Laboratories, Ft. Dodge, Iowa.

30	Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Petersen, (E. J. Peterson)	Announce the birth of a daughter, their third child. He is regional sales manager for the new Junior Language and Arts, a monthly publication for children aged 2 to 12. The first issue was off the press September 1.

30	Mr. and Mrs. Everett Hultigren, (Mildred Lindstrom)	Announce the birth of a son, James Paul. Everett served three years in the Army Air Corps as a weather observer. They live on a farm near Marathon, Iowa.

31	Ralph L. Patty	Died November 7, 1945. He received the master's degree from Iowa State College and was a member of the South Dakota State College faculty for several years.
31	Maude Flanagan	Died in Council Bluffs, Iowa, August 3, 1946. She taught in Orange City, Iowa, and in Mitchell, South Dakota, where she was supervisor of all primary grades.
31	Mrs. Anna F. Sheffield	Died July 6, 1944, in the home of her son in Ft. Dodge, after an illness of several years. She taught in the Eldora public schools for a number of years.
31	Mrs. Franklin Wilson, (Helen Starff)	Died on May 5, 1946, at her home north of Vinton, Iowa. Surviving are her husband, whom she married in 1925; one son, Tom, and two sisters, Nealia McCoy of Kankakee, Illinois, and Hazel Umbaugh of Waterloo, Iowa.
31	Mr. and Mrs. Paul D. Robertson, (Mildred Loomer)	Of Manila, Iowa, announce the birth of a son, Daniel Dean.
31	Mrs. J. E. Rundles, (Ella Rich)	Died June 22, 1946, at Janesville, Iowa. She is survived by her husband and one daughter, Mary, wife of William Grupp of Cedar Falls. Ella was a sister of the late professor A. W. Rich of the normal school, and an aunt of Walter Rich, Cedar Falls grocer
31	Mrs. James D. McNair, (Ella A. Farrington)	Died at Wessington, South Dakota, in March 1946. She had lived in Wessington since 1918. She was married in September 1894. The couple had no children. A brother, John of Pasadena, California, survives.
31	Mrs. J. C. Willson March, (Katie Younkin)	Died May 31, 1946, in Pasadena, California, where she had made her home since 1938. She served as a nurse for several years and as a house mother at a fraternity house in Iowa City. She is survived by a sister, Effie Younkin Bettis of Pasadena.
31	Mrs. J. R. Lucas, (Jessie M. Barnt)	Died at Kansas City, Missouri, on June 17, 1946. She taught in Wall Lake, Algona and Sioux City, Iowa. She is survived by three children. She had been a resident of Kansas City since 1917.
31	Mrs. John Mulvehill, (Nell Corrigan)	Died August 4, 1946, in Minneapolis. A native of Cedar Falls, she moved to Minneapolis after her marriage. She is survived by her husband, three sons and a daughter.
31	Mr. and Mrs. John L. Wachter, (Margery Haas)	Announce the birth of a son, John Frederick. Margery taught in Fonda and Belle Plaine prior to her marriage. They reside at Hillsboro, Wisconsin, where John is vocational agricultural instructor in the high school.
