24	Helen Pfrimmer	Married Norris Price on June 8, 1947; live at Oconee, Illinois, where he operates a farm. Helen has been teaching at Centerville, serving as elementary supervisor and junior college instructor for the past two years.
24	Letha Frederick	Married Vernon Hugh Johnson, May 24, 1947. Letha has been teaching fifth grade in Rawlins, Wyoming, and formerly taught in Cedar Falls. Vernon, a graduate of the University of Wyoming, is a civil engineer.

24	Naomi Orr	Spent the past summer in Europe with her brother, Ross, a senior student at Harvard University; spent two weeks in the British Isles before joining Ross at Paris, where the two enrolled in a six week summer course at the University of Paris.

24	Esther Stark	Married Harold C. McComb, June 19, 1947. Harold is a meteorologist in charge of the federal weather bureau in Columbia, Missouri. Esther graduated from the University of Iowa and took graduate work at Colorado State College of Education.
25	Mathilda Klein	Married Fred D. Arnold June 20, 1947. Mathilda has been teaching the fifth grade in the Manchester, Iowa, schools. Fred is employed in a hardware store.
25	Howard Marquardt	Married Ersileen Carpenter June 27, 1947. Ersileen has been teaching at Sumner, Iowa. They will live in Iowa City, where Howard will attend the University of Iowa.

29	Mrs. Carleton J. Peck, (Marjorie Hammer)	Died at Davenport, Iowa, June 11, 1947. She had taught home economics in Iowa schools until her marriage in 1932.
29	Estelle Martha Alvord	Died at Bedford, Iowa, on June 20, 1947. She taught at New Market and Siam, Iowa.
29	John T. Rider	Died June 6, 1947. He had served as industrial arts instructor at Keokuk, Iowa, for three years, and was elected high school principal at Monticello, Iowa, for 1947-1948. He is survived by his wife and three children.
29	Donald D. Webber, Vira Allene Henderson	Donald died at Cresco, Iowa, July 19, 1947. He taught at Delhi, Strawberry Point, Garnavillo, Guttenberg, and McGregor, Iowa, and for the last seven years had been high school principal at Cresco, Iowa. His wife is the former Vira Alene Henderson.
29	Mrs. William J. Cummins, (Frances Elizabeth Smith)	Died at Britt, Iowa, on June 29, 1947. She had taught at Britt before her marriage.
29	Lucy O. Pingrey	Died June 28, 1947, At Estherville, Iowa. She taught in rural schools and at Livermore, Dows, Estherville, Washington, and Charles City.
29	Mrs. LaMont A. Williams, (Ella Danskin)	Died on June 10, 1947. Her husband was superintendent of the Arlington National Cemetery for many years.
29	Catherine Elizabeth Corrigan	Died at her home in New Hartford on June 13, 1947. She taught for twenty-five years in Black Hawk and Butler Counties before her retirement.
29	Mrs. Anna G. Woolfries	Died in Waterloo, Iowa, August 4, 1947. She taught at Waterloo, Millersburg, and Keystone, Iowa.
29	Edna Louise Kloster	Died July 29, 1947, at Forest City, Iowa. She had been high school librarian and instructor of English in Corning, Iowa.

A retired grocer and former Iowa school teacher, he is survived by his wife, Belle, two daughters, (O. W. Bunker), and Dorothy. He had one son, Sidney Albert Horn, an attorney in Indianapolis, Indiana.
